POLICIES & PROCEDURES
ARRIVAL & PICKUP
Please arrive early enough for students to use the restroom and be in the appropriate attire including dance shoes before entering the studio. If a student arrives late, parents should make sure the student is ready before entering the studio as to minimize disruption for the class. Parents and siblings may not enter the studio while the class is in session. No food, drinks or gum is allowed. For safety, all students must be picked up inside the building on time when class ends.
OBSERVATION
Observers are not allowed in the studio while class is in session. There is a video feed in the lobby where parents and siblings are welcome to observe the classes. For Tot & I classes the parent or guardian must stay in the class. CPD offers an “Observation Week” in the fall for parents, siblings and friends to come into the studio and watch the class. Photos and videos are allowed at that time.
PHOTOS/VIDEOS
Central Park Dance reserves the right to use the student’s name (or any fictional name), picture, portrait, or photograph in all forms and media and in all manners, including composite or distorted representations, for advertising, trade, or any other lawful purpose.
BUILDING CLOSURES/INCLEMENT WEATHER
Holiday closings for children/teen classes are included in the schools holiday closings calendars on our website. In the event of inclement weather, classes may be canceled. Our class cancellations may differ from schools in the area. You will receive an email regarding closings and they will be posted on our social media platforms.
