For 40 years, Central Park Dance has continued to provide instruction to both beginners and pre-professional dancers in the Westchester area. “Our daughter was dancing before she walked! We came to Central Park Dance through an internet search in 2011. We liked the convenience of the location and quickly fell in love with the teachers.
We started out in Mommy & Me classes and Fairytale Ballet with Ms. Christina. Our daughter adores Ms. Christina to this day. Christina has a magical way with young feet and hearts, and managed to ignite our child’s passion for dance. 10 years, 9 recitals, 5 years of Nutcracker performances, and many more teachers later (Ms. Maria, Ms. Nancy, Ms. Alejandra, Ms. Devon, Ms. Dina, and more), our daughter still loves to dance!
Devon, Alejandra, and Nancy have a special connection to those pre-teen and teen years when it seems like some days you can’t get your son or daughter to do anything. Somehow, they have cracked the teenage code. All the teachers, owners, fellow dance parents, and dance-mates feel like family. Our CPD dance family!
Our daughter is both a dancer and a gymnast, and we can see how much each complements the other. She has been complimented and awarded for her natural grace and strong posture – all foundations she has learned over the last decade at Central Park Dance.
